The silver Libertad is struck by the Casa de Moneda de México, the oldest mint on the American continent, founded in 1535. The silver ounce has been issued since 1982 and shows the Winged Victory. Pieces with the GSG Vault seal ship from the GSG Vault strongroom with insured custody, and GSG sends them out when they sell.
