GSG Encyclopedia

What is the GSG encyclopedia?

The GSG encyclopedia is the reference catalogue for modern collector coins. Art coins, bullion and fandom, entry by entry, with full technical data, mintage, images, a video for every series and what the market is paying for each piece. It is free and maintained by the GSG team with the help of collectors, mints and dealers.

How it connects to the marketplace

The seller does not write the entry

When listing, they pick their coin in the encyclopedia and confirm it. The listing title and technical data come from the entry, so all listings of the same piece group together and compare.

One page per series

Each series has a single page with the entry, the video, the pieces for sale and the ones still to come. It is the same page Google finds.

Your collection

With your account you mark the pieces you own, the ones you want and the progress of each series, and get an alert when a missing one appears.

Reviewed entries

Every entry is reviewed before publication. If a detail is missing or wrong, any user can propose a correction from the page itself.
