Gold bars

Gold Bars

Gold bars from recognized refineries, from one gram to the kilogram. On each listing you see the refinery, the weight, the purity and the serial number, and the listing shows whether the seller is a verified professional or a private seller.

What a bar declares

Refinery, weight, purity, normally 999 or 999.9 thousandths, and its own serial number. Some come with an individual certificate, and it is a good idea to keep it with the piece.

Value and design

The value of a bar depends almost entirely on weight and purity. It has little room for design, which is why its premium is usually lower than that of a collector coin.

Size

Small weights are easier to split if you ever sell only part of your holding. Large ones usually have a lower premium per gram, but are harder to split.

Taxes and shipping

Gold bars that meet the investment gold criteria are bought free of consumption tax in many regions. Taxes and shipping are calculated at the end, in the cart, with insurance until delivery.

How to check it

When you receive it, compare the weight and the refinery on the listing with those of the piece. Keep the original packaging and the certificate, because they make a future sale easier. Record the unboxing video of the package, which is required to file a claim.
