Silver bars

Silver Bars

Silver bars from recognized refineries, from small weights up to the kilogram. On each listing you see the refinery, the weight, the purity and the serial number, and the listing shows whether the seller is a verified professional or a private seller.

What a silver bar declares

Refinery, weight, purity, normally 999 thousandths, and a serial number or a batch. The larger ones usually come with a certificate.

Value and premium

Its value depends almost entirely on weight and purity. The premium is lower than that of a collector coin and falls as the weight of the piece goes up.

Weight and shipping

Silver weighs more and takes up more space than gold for the same value. A large bar can make shipping more expensive, which is calculated at the end, in the cart, with insurance until delivery.

Taxes

Silver is bought with taxes in most regions. Each country has its own rule, and the Taxes When Buying and Selling page covers the main ones. Talk to a tax professional in your country.

How to check it

When you receive it, compare the weight and the stamps with those on the listing. Keep the packaging and the certificate, record the unboxing video of the package and remember that you have five days from delivery to file a claim.
